coverEternal Hope

Katie Dillard

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.     John 15:15 (NKJV)

Are you aware that Jesus existed before the world began? In the very essence of Jesus is the permeation of hope and a new life. Jesus, the hope for salvation, was severed from mankind when rebellion entered the heart of man. But through all those years of destruction the vibrations of hope still beat in the heart of the One who first loved us.

In the lowliest of places the Creator of the universe dropped the first spark of light on the globe of sin-ridden darkness. The heart of love that yearned so tenderly for the contrary creation would now embrace it in arms of Hope.

The tiny baby in the bed of hay is not where the story of Hope begins. The thousands of years of sacrifices, tabernacles, and Passovers were the remembrance of God’s promise for his people, but also the foreshadowing of deliverance yet to come. Jesus came to bridge the chasm and draw us closer to the Father. In the name of Jesus is Hope.

I give thanks to Him

Who calls me Friend.

His Hope is sure

His plan secure.

I’ll give Him glory, honor and praise!
